There’s a new Lakey Peak surf camp & it’s sik!

Lakey Peak Haven is her name and she’s a 1 square acre property set a little back from the busy Lakey Peak Esplanade. Its a secure and private facility with private infinity pool, bar and restaurant.

The camp owner, Michael Hill said the start to the year has been nothing short of briliant despite some less than ideal wet season weather that can be expected at this time of year.

“We had family visit from Australia and it was great to welcome them with open arms into a bonus wet season swell that was a little unexpected. With Mount Agung blowing its lid in the late months of 2017, Most of Indo has been fairly quite at an otherwise busy time of year. The surf was amazing, light winds all day and really uncrowded in the lineups. The first half of January was the best but the second half got a bit stormy. Not to worry, Periscopes can handle most conditions so we headed there and still got to surf everyday. The bonus was that the cloudy overcast days make for an amazing sunset and lights up the sky with pinks, purples and blues”.
