In collaboration with SAPANG (Surfing Association Papua New Guinea), World Surfaris invites surfers around Australia to participate in a surfboard and hardware drive to support the local surfing communities that neighbour SAPNG surf clubs and resorts around PNG.
All types of equipment including surfboards, wax, leg ropes, wetsuits, rashies, flippers & repair kits will be collected for donation. Prior to distribution by SAPNG to their many affiliated surf clubs, 50% of all surfboards will have the front painted pink. This initiative supports a womens surfing movement in local PNG communities, as part of the Pink Nose Revolution introduced by SAPNG’s CEO Andy Abel some years ago.
